Scuba Diving is one of those activities that delivers adrenlin and excitement or relaxation and gracefulness. Diving is something which can grow with you as your experience grows. There are not too many other sports which can expand as your experience increases, so it will match what can do today, tomorrow or in the years to come.

To become a confident Scuba Diver you need to be able to swim and feel comfortable in the water

The minimum age for scuba certification is 15 years of age for an Open Water Diver Certificate.

The first time that you experience Scuba Diving can be a scary, but it is also one of the most amazing things which I have done in my life.

There are many different types of Scuba Diving
Open Water Diving, Advance Open Water Diving, Adventure Diver, including Deep Diving, Wreck Diving, Night Diving and then there are different levels of instructors, but you don't need to worry about all of those just yet.

If you are new to diving then the first step is an Open Water Diving certificate, this enables you to dive, along with a buddy on your own. It also enables you hire scuba diving equipment and to refill your own tanks.

Prior to the Open Water Diving Certificate, you can undertake what is called "Discover Scuba" where without doing a formal qualification you can try Scuba Diving to see if you like it. Generally this involves an instructor holding your hand and controlling everything for you. You will still need to undertake a medical examination or questionnaire prior to your dive.
