Giant Clam
Although not technically a coral as such, the Giant Clam makes its home in amongst the coral gardens of our tropical reefs all over the world. The largest living mollusk a Giant Clam can weigh up to 200kg and grow as large as 1.2 meters across. Lifespan of 100 years or more. Clam colors vary from purple blue green, in the Crocus clam, brown with speckles of white through to yellow in the Komodo clam, and green with blue specks of the clam from East Timor
